When to buy ?
Up to 48 hours before the departure of your flight.
Where can I buy it ?
- On the www.aircaraibes.com website:
- While booking: access the "VIP Services" section, step 4.
- After booking a ticket: access your reservation file. Then in the "Services" paragraph, select "Modify information". Choose the "XTRA BAG" service in the "Luggage" tab. Click on "Calculate the price" then on "Continue" to validate your choice. - In Air Caraïbes points of sale.
- In travel agencies.
- Via the central reservation office:
Service valid only on transatlantic flights and on flights operated under code share with French Bee, subject to available space on board.
This optional service allows the passenger to purchase and benefit from an additional piece of baggage up to a limit of 06 additional XTRA BAG per person per flight. The maximum weight allowed for the additional baggage will be identical to that included in the price of the ticket with which it is associated.
It is not possible to purchase an XTRA BAG for baby tickets.
The XTRA BAG offer is not valid on the transport of animals or special baggage. For more information:

Unless otherwise stipulated in these general terms and conditions, the purchase of this service is subject to Air Caraïbes' general terms and conditions of sale and carriage.
The price applicable to this service is that in force on the date of purchase thereof. In the event of non-payment, the service cannot be returned.
The reservation for this service is personal and non-transferable.
This service can only be issued when the ticket to which it is attached is also issued.
The service can only be refunded if the ticket to which it is attached is also refundable.
No refund will be possible in the absence of actual collection of the price by Air Caraïbes.
If the service cannot be rendered due to Air Caraïbes, it will be refunded at the passenger's request.
In the event of cancellation or delay of a flight, a refund may be made under the conditions set out in the general conditions of sale and carriage available here.
The Passenger may under no circumstances be reimbursed if:
- (a) through his/her fault, he/she does not make use of the service or,
- (b) if he/she does not meet the booking conditions for the service or,
- (c) if he/she does not comply with the General Conditions of Sale and Carriage and/or the conditions applicable to the service or,
- (d) if he/she has modified or cancelled his/her flight him/herself.
Air Caraïbes reserves the right to modify or discontinue this offer at any time.
Please note: For purchases paid for in foreign currency, an additional local tax may be added to the pre-tax amount of the products. For example, when departing from the Dominican Republic, the ITBIS tax of 18% is added to the selling price of our services.
