NavigAir advantages
- No need to buy a plane ticket and a boat ticket separately.
- A single point of contact in the event of changes (subject to conditions) to the route or timetable.
- Save time by issuing the 2 routes at once (no later than 48 hours before departure).
- A single airport transfer > ferry terminal.
- Free reservation guaranteed on the next available boat or flight in case of plane or boat delay.
- Payment of one night's accommodation if necessary (except in cases of force majeure).
- Please check in at the shipping company (navigAIR) counter in Dominica, Les Saintes, Marie-Galante, or Saint Lucia up to 30 min. before the boat's departure.
- At Guadeloupe Pôle Caraïbes and Martinique-Aimé-Césaire airports, baggage check-in is made easier with a counter in the priority processing zone.
- Opting for the navigAIR combined ticket is cheaper and more convenient, than buying a plane ticket, a boat ticket and a transfer separately.
- With the navigAIR formula everything is included!
How does it work?
Air Caraïbes and its partner shipping companies offer a simple solution for traveling between Paris and the islands: plane + shuttle + boat (valid in both directions).
Direction Paris > Islands
- At Paris Orly 4 airport, collect your boarding pass for the flight.
- Arrived at Guadeloupe Pôle Caraïbes airport, collect your luggage and follow the navigAIR signs. The navigAIR shuttle is located at exit n°3 (near the pharmacy and the staircase). This shuttle will take you to the ferry terminal free of charge (departure coordinated with boat departures).
- Arrived at Martinique-Aimé-Césaire airport, collect your luggage and head for the TCSP (Transport collectif en site propre), which stops in front of the airport.
- Arrived at the ferry terminal, go to the shipping company counter (navigAIR) to collect your boat ticket with your travel memo and ID.
The boat ticket is only validated once you have completed your journey by air.
Air Caraïbes will take care of transporting your baggage to the baggage carousel at your final destination airport.
You are then responsible for transporting it from the airport to your arrival station.
Direction Islands > Paris
- Show up at the shipping company counter (navigAIR) with your travel memo and ID to pick up your boat ticket.
- Arrive at the ferry terminal after the crossing, collect your luggage and take the free navigAIR shuttle to Pôle Caraïbes airport in Guadeloupe, or take the TCSP (Transport collectif en site propre) to the airport in Martinique.
- Arrive at the airport, follow the navigAIR signs to the priority processing area. Collect your boarding pass and check in your baggage for the flight to Paris Orly 4.
Nota bene: The plane ticket is only validated when you have completed your trip by boat!
You are responsible for taking your luggage to the check-in counter at the airport.
For security reasons, luggage is not checked in at the station, but only at the airport on the day of your departure.
