What is the budget for a 1 week trip to the Bahamas?

For a week's stay in the Bahamas, accommodation options vary according to your budget. For a budget trip, consider staying in hostels or budget hotels, with rates ranging from €50 to €100 per night, or around €350 to €700 for the week. For a mid-range budget, choose three-star hotels or comfortable Airbnb rentals, with rates of €100 to €200 per night, or around €700 to €1,400 for the week. For a luxurious stay, opt for five-star hotels or all-inclusive resorts, with rates of €300 to €500 per night, or around €2,100 to €3,500 for the week.

There are flights connecting the various islands from Nassau, however weather conditions often cause these to be delayed or cancelled.

You can also opt for ferry-boats which refer to water cabs serving the islands in the same group (the Abaco, the Bimini , the Exuma). Schedules and fares vary according to the route, but most depart from Nassau.

Finally, you'll have a choice of jitney , which is the local name given to buses and taxis to get you around most of the islands. Like ferries, fares vary according to the route. If you wish to travel by cab, remember to check that they display the Bahamahost logo.

.

When it comes to eating out, there are plenty of options to suit all budgets. For a budget trip, opt for local restaurants and street stalls, with a budget of around €20 to €30 per day, or €140 to €210 for the week. For an average budget, choose mid-range restaurants, with a daily budget of €50 to €70, or €350 to €490 for the week. For a luxurious stay, dine in gourmet restaurants and take advantage of the resorts' high-end catering services, with a budget of around €100 to €150 per day, or €700 to €1050 for the week.
